“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: (Revelation 3:14).

[9]. I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

[10]. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,

[11]. saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

EXPOSITION

Concise and encoded words affirm powerful statements in all cultures, especially in religious discussions. “Amen” is commonly used by Jews and Christians worldwide, meaning “So be it”, or “True and Unchangeable”. God assures His followers that His Word remains unchanged. Amen means “It shall be so accordingly Jesus Christ came with the true unchangeable power and Word of God. He says, I am the Truth (Jn. 1:14,18; 14:6). He says, These things says the Amen. He is the Truth Who can never lie (Num. 23:19). God wants us all to trust Him and His Word. He cannot deceive you.

When you pray and say, “Amen”, you are affirming your faith in the truthfulness and personality of God. Remove doubt from your heart today and say the loudest ‘Amen’ to your prayers and you will see wonders. ‘Amen’ is saying you agree with God. You agree with His Word. You agree with His power. You agree with His covenant over your life, no matter the elements of delay or obstruction; that He cannot lie. Amen is, “I believe You God and Your power to do so in my situations.” Go ahead and say, “Amen” to your prayers and experience the rainfall of answers to the prayers.

PRAYER POINTS

1. God Who cannot lie, forgive my sin of doubts.

2. Jesus Christ, I trust You more today and say, ‘Amen’ to Your promises in my life.

3. Pray for CAC Olutimehin Region, our father in the Lord, the Regional Superintendent, and the other officers at the various levels as led by the Spirit of God.
