FEAR NOT
2 Timothy 1:7; Isaiah 43:1-2
2 Timothy 1:7 ‘For God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of sound mind’
In Christ Jesus, the spirit of fear is a stranger; it is not part of the new creation package. It’s not part of the pact that ratified the new covenant, and neither is it part of your fellowship and communion with Christ. We have come to God, the Judge of all; we have come to the spirit of just made perfect; we have come to Jesus Christ the mediator of the new covenant; we have come to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:23-24). Beloved, you are justified, no longer condemned and you have acceptance with God. Scriptures tell us that there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Therefore, there is no reason for you to walk or live in fear. The acceptance you have with the Father should make you bold, confident and fearless. You have been redeemed by the Lord; therefore, do not fear (Isaiah 43:2).
Here is another reason for you to not be afraid. The book of Isaiah 41:10 says, ‘Fear thou not for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness’. Beloved, the presence of God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Even when you pass through the valley of the shadow of death, there is no reason to be afraid because God is with you. This tells us that to overcome fear, you must be conscious and mindful of the presence of God. The Creator of heaven and earth is your God, and He says He will help you and strengthen you with the right hand of His righteousness. So there is no need to be afraid. The righteous is as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). Are you righteous? Is God Almighty your God? Is He with you? If yes, then, Fear Not! There is nothing that the enemy can do against you because God is your Defender. I declare that the cover of God is upon you, and fear has no hold over you in Jesus’ name. Amen

Heavenly Father, I thank You because You have not given me the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore, I declare that the hold of fear is banished from me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
