SERVE, YOUR LIFE HAS PURPOSE
MEMORISE: Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labour of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father (1 Thessalonians 1:3).

EXPOSITION:
The Apostle Paul said in 1Thess.1:3 that he continually remembered three good things about the Thessalonian Christians. First, their work produced by faith. While one cannot work to get saved because we are not saved by works, yet we are saved for works and our faith should produce works. If our faith does not produce works, then it is a dead faith – a faith that does not save (Jam. 2:14, 17).
Any man or woman of God with an authentic faith will produce works of faith. They will serve God’s purposes in their lives, they will serve in Church or somewhere else beyond the four walls of the Church and they will serve passionately and sacrificially. They give God their prime time, not their spare time or leftover time. They are more concerned about doing God’s will than doing the things they like. They value their heavenly citizenship more than their earthly citizenship. They do not live to have the best life on earth but they use their time on earth to prepare for eternity, to do things that have eternal values such as bringing a godly influence into their workplaces, sharing the love of Christ with those who do not know, saving souls, etc.
As we walk with the Lord today, may our faith in the Lord produce wonderful works for the Kingdom of heaven, bearing eternal fruit! Receive grace to live out your purpose in Jesus’ name.

1. Lord, help me to appreciate my salvation.
2. Lord, make a productive and fruitful Christian both in and out of the Church.
3. Pray for the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Our Father in the Lord, the President and his lieutenants, and the staff of CAC Secretariat as led by the Spirit of God.
