Arrangements have been concluded for the inauguration of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Agege/Ogba chapter in Lagos State. This is according to Oliver Praise, the PFN provincial chairman in a press release on Thursday.
Praise said: “Agege/Ogba Province being a new province, will also be inaugurated alongside the executive on Monday 10th December 2018 at the Province Headquarters, Destiny Revival Church, Dopemu, Agege, Lagos.
“The State Executive Council led by the State Chairman Bishop Dr. Olusola Ore, who is also the Chairman Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board will be conducting the inauguration ceremony.”
Bishop Praise, who was the former chapter chairman of Agege Southwest, called on the new Province Executive to see this opportunity as a divine mandate and to serve faithfully in love and unity for the whole body of Christ.
PFN is currently made up of 19 Provinces in Lagos, while Agege/ Ogba Chapter has over seven chapters. While charging Christians to wake up from their slumber by actively participating in the discharge of their civic responsibility during the forthcoming election, he called on other Christian bodies at all levels to join the move to propagate their faith in Christ.
The membership of PFN is drawn across the country at national, state, province and chapter levels. It was established on November 14, 1985, as a ”body of Christ’s believers having identical unity of purpose and cooperation in agreed programmes,” the press release noted.
