God will not Disappoint You!

Numbers 23:19“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken and shall he not make it good”

1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

The faithfulness of God is a settled fact in the Scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation. God is faithful; that is who He is. He will always come true. No matter what the situation is, God will always respond to His Word; He and His Word are always one. Whatsoever God has said, He will do; whatsoever He has commanded, He will fulfil. The whole Bible is littered with examples and testimonies of the faithfulness of God.

The Bible is a testimony of His honesty, integrity and dependability. Hallelujah! God has an irrefutable track record of integrity and faithfulness. He can be trusted, for He is dependable. God will always come true on every promise He made to you. He will always perform His Word to all who believe in Him. He said in Isaiah 7:14-15 that a virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and His Name shall be called Emmanuel.

After many years, He fulfilled His Word. Jesus was born through Mary the virgin. God fulfilled His Word to the letter. Again, when Abraham was seventy-five years old, God made the promise of a son to him, and when he was about one hundred years of age, God fulfilled His Word unto him. God never fails! He is eternally faithful. Time cannot limit His faithfulness.

Our opening Scripture tells us that God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent on His Word. He will do whatever He has promised. Has He said a thing, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken a thing and shall He not make it good? God’s Word is always good because He is faithful. You can bank on His Word. You can lean your entire being – spirit, soul and body – on the Lord.

You can depend on God by acting upon His Word. You can exercise faith in God because He is faithful. This is what faith in God is all about; it is counting God faithful in your case according to His Word. You can take God’s Word at face value because faith in God is based on His faithfulness. Taking God as faithful in the light of His Word, is a show or demonstration of faith in Him.

My Solid Front (Confession):

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I count God faithful like Sarah did, and call Him dependable because He truly is; God’s Word is reliable because He is faithful, therefore I put my trust in Him – spirit, soul and body. Amen.
