Faith Speaks

Mark 11:22-23.2 “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.”

2 Corinthians 4:13 “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Faith has a speaking side which reveals its nature, content and potency. The faith of God speaks; it is not speechless or dumb. At creation, God’s faith spoke the created world into existence. Everything God made, He spoke into existence. John 1:1-3 tells us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by the Word, and nothing was made without the Word. Again, Hebrews 11:3 tells us that through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word, such that the things which were made were not made out of things which do appear. Faith is the creative force back of creation, and speaking is its dominant expression or character. When Bible faith is in operation, speaking is one of the ways you can tell it. The Word declares in our opening verse that believing always goes with speaking. It says, I believed, and therefore have I spoken, meaning believing creates an action of speaking. You can’t profess that you believe without speaking in line with what you believe. This is the communication of faith; it is speaking faith-filled words in line with your conviction.
The Lord Jesus speaking in Mark 11:23 says, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” This statement reveals the fact that the God-kind of faith is expressed via the means or avenue of speaking. What you say is a reflection of your faith. If you talk unbelief, you are not in faith. If you are in faith, you will not talk unbelief. Jesus said the mouth always speaks from the abundance of the heart (Luke 6:45). Faith is of the heart, for with the heart we believe unto righteousness; and when there is conviction in the heart, the mouth gives vent to it. Beloved, if you truly believe God’s Word concerning you, you will speak it forth with all boldness. It is by speaking the Word of faith in your spirit that it materialises. The words of faith that we speak are testimonies of our faith. Let your tongue loose as it speaks forth and communicates the faith of God in your spirit. Let your tongue come in line with your faith and you will experience awesome manifestation of God’s goodness in your life.

My Solid Front (Confession):  In the Name of Jesus, I speak forth God’s Word with boldness today, and I see it come to pass in my life. I declare that I enjoy the goodwill of men and favour all the days of my life. Amen.
