Higher Everyday

TEXT: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Time and tide wait for no man, “is a common phrase which underscores the need for all youths to take time management very seriously. Do an evaluation of how you spend your time to ensure that you are not wasting away. It is common among youths to spend their time in activities that negate the accomplishment of the success and achievements they desire. Social media, and browsing internet sites, as well as computer games and home videos, have become subtle means by which the devil steals the time of youths. According to Thomas Edison, “Time is not a commodity that can be stored for future use. It must be invested hour by hour, or else it is gone forever.”

Don’t be a victim. Be wise! Life is brief, therefore, make the best use of it in the days of your youth. Each minute is a gift of God that cannot be recovered, if wasted. You must use your time wisely to succeed in life, advance the Kingdom of Christ and to enhance your relationship with Him here on earth.

CHALLENGE: God does not want you to waste away your brief time on earth.

PRAYER: God, help me to use my time with heaven in view.
