Are you always available and ready to help those in need? You learn a lesson from the lad referred to in our text today. This young lad was identified among the multitude that assembled to hear Jesus in the wilderness. Youth boy/girl, where do you normally go to? Are you always found among God’s people? Do you love Jesus and fellowship with Him and other Christians? The lad was not only present but had something to give. He willingly surrendered what he had for the benefit of others. He did not withhold it. Do you know that you too have something that you can give to God and His people? What do you do with your God-given talents?
Beloved, do not hoard your gifts from God and His people. Except you use your talents, they will remain dormant. You can help as a Christian youth worker in your local church and school fellowship. Some units like ushering, choir, evangelism, intercession, visiting, and electronic are in dire need of you. Remember also to give your tithe and offering as God blesses you.
CHALLENGE: Offer something to God and receive His best
PRAYER: Lord, help me to surrender my all to you.
