CONSECRATED YOUTH .

TEXT: “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple” (Psalms 27:4).

Life is all about choice. According to Eleanor Roosevelt, “One’s philosophy is not best expressed in words. It is expressed in the choices one makes. In the long run, it shapes one’s life. The process never ends until one dies. And the choices one makes are ultimately one’s responsibility.” Today, many youths are faced with academic, career and socio-economic choices. However, the choice of eternal destiny is mandatory for every youth.

The one thing you must do is to love God and live for Him. “Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man” {Ecclesiastes 12:13). To fear God is to confess your sins, and give your life to Christ. Consecrate your life to God and you will be sure of a blissful life here on earth and in heaven.

CHALLENGE: Fear God and keep His commandments.

PRAYER: Dear Father, help me to love you with all my heart.

FURTHER READING: Luke 10: 38- 42.
