The Dew of Heaven
Psalm 133:3; Genesis 27:28
Psalm 133:3 “As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
Rainfall is seasonal. There is no place on earth where it rains every single day. In Africa, there is a climatic season called rainy season during which it rains almost constantly. Farmers have to plan their planting and harvesting based on seasons, especially those without access to irrigation. However, dew is a daily occurrence. Every morning, the earth is wet with dew regardless of the season or climatic condition. The blessing into which we have entered as believers is likened to the dew of heaven. “…Therefore, God give thee of the DEW OF HEAVEN, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine” (Genesis 27:27-28). The blessing of Jacob is the blessing of the dew of heaven, a ceaseless, consistent, abiding sure mercies of God’s everlasting goodness. This is the same blessing that’s upon the believer.
When rain falls, it soaks into the earth but it’s usually with such force that the earth can’t take it all, resulting in erosion and flooding. However, dew is more penetrating. It comes with less noise and force but enters into the deepest parts. It is also a reliable constant occurrence. So also is the blessing. The blessing was designed to be a constant, never-ending flow. The blessing was designed to meet your needs in a perpetual manner. It doesn’t work for a few weeks, to stop thereafter. No! It is constant, unending. Beloved, stake your faith on the ceaseless flows of God’s blessings. Believe God for a constant flow of income, grace, favour, anointing, etc., that is undeniably steadfast. Desire the outflow of the dew of heaven that produces the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine. This is God’s will for you: The Dew of Heaven!

Heavenly Father, I receive today of the dew of heaven. I walk in abundance of all good things today; my barns are filled with plenty; my storehouses explode with more than enough. I declare that the blessing is a never-ending precipitation in my life in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
