[13]. All the saints greet you.
[14]. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14).
EXPOSITION
A benediction is a short invocation (request) for divine help, grace, blessing and guidance, usually at the end of a worship service. In the Old Testament, *And LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, “This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them”* (Num. 6:22-27). Hallelujah! In the New Testament, Paul’s letters are filled with such benedictions, because he understood the reality, necessity, and wonders of God’s grace upon the Church, just like the Old Testament invocations were upon the nation, Israel.
Grace is the undeserved favour of God lavished on Christians, and available because of Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross. Mitchell Gregory once wrote: Grace to you (1 Cor. 1:3) refers to our salvation apart from our own works. Grace be with you (2 Thess. 3:18) refers to our ability to access God’s grace in our lives each day. Therefore, arm yourself with this knowledge. Do not receive the grace of God in vain by sinning (cf. 2 Cor. 6:1). May the grace of God the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit spice up your life, and be with you always (2 Cor. 13:14). Amen.
SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:
CAC GHB 257
1. Amazing grace! How sweet the sound!
That saved a wretch like me;
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
2. ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
3. Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
Tis grace that brought me safe this far
And grace will lead me home.
4. Yes, when this heart and flesh shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the vail
A life of joy and peace.
Amen.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord my God, I receive the fullness of Your grace today and forever.
2. Turn to your neighbour: May the grace of the Lord Jesus continually abide with, and in you, unstoppably.
3. Lord, at the close of every of our church activities/worships, every time, let there be testimonies of encountering You in terms of salvation, sanctification, deliverance, blessings, miracles, etc., in Jesus’ name.
