Believe the Lord’s Report!
Luke 1:45; Isaiah 53:1.
Isaiah 53:1 “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?”
Our opening Scripture is a question asked by the Spirit through Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz: “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” The report of God is God’s Word; it is God’s counsel or will about you and everything that concerns you, which Christ wrought in His finished works for you at Calvary. God’s report concerning you is eternal; it is eternally settled in heaven and in time also. Understand that circumstances and situations cannot change it. It is worthy of note that the report of God must be believed for the arm or strength of the Lord to be revealed. When you settle with God’s report about you, you will see the salvation of the Lord; nothing shifts you henceforth, nothing troubles you thereafter! All of heaven’s provision, power, grace, glory and wisdom is back of God’s report about you. There is no lack or insufficiency when you embrace God’s report about you. When the report of God is believed, the power of God is revealed to make good His Word. Refuse to vacillate! Stay with the report of God about you!
In Luke 1:45, Mary the mother of Jesus responded with faith to the news of God’s choice of her to carry the Messiah in her womb for nine months. This report was the first of its kind, though prophecies had gone ahead that a virgin would conceive and bear a son, yet there was no precedent, neither was there an antecedent. It is still the only one of its kind. Another word for this kind of incident is a wonder, and that is what God wants to do with your life. God wants to give you a first of its kind miracle. Don’t let anyone deceive you by telling you that nothing good can come out of Nazareth. In God, discoveries are endless. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Can you see what is written concerning you? What is written is written. God has written inventions, discoveries, uncommon insight, divine concepts and trans-generational blessings concerning you. God has put you light years ahead of your contemporaries. By light, you will begin to operate in the future that many of your contemporaries are anticipating, in the Name of Jesus! What then should be your response? Lord, I believe! Like Mary, let your confession be “…behold the handmaid (chosen, anointed) of the Lord, BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO THY WORD!” God is faithful to bring His Word to pass in your life. Whatever God has said concerning you, His hand will perform. “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Performance is of the Lord and whosoever believes will experience the manifestation of God’s Word.
My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that my confidence and absolute dependence is in God’s Word concerning me. I believe the Lord’s report! Amen!
Further Meditation: Acts 15:18; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
