You Are Blessed!!!

2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 1:3.

Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 describes the man who is born again, the new creation man. It says, “…old things have passed away…” The old things of sin and all its consequences have passed away. From Genesis 3, after the fall of man, mankind deviated from the original plan of God because man had sinned and stepped out of God’s plan for humanity. This was how sicknesses, diseases, and poverty crept into the human race, and man became subject to the devil. But Jesus died to set us free, and He has reconciled us back to God, into alignment with God’s will and purpose. So, why should we believe in poverty, if in the beginning, it was not so? As a child of God, you shouldn’t be poor. You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. If you are in Christ, you are blessed. Sometimes, people speak against prosperity but most people who do don’t actually believe in poverty. It is the excesses that they are displeased with. However, even in poverty, there are excesses. Getting too rich is not so much of an issue as what you do with the wealth, how you dispense or use it. Have you been in a situation that you have your needs met but there are people around you who need your help, but you cannot help because you don’t have ‘more than enough’ required to help and minister?

There is nothing wrong with having more money. The Bible doesn’t say that money is the root of all evil; it says the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10). Do you know money solves problems? It does. So, the issue is not having more money, but the love of money. Therefore, you need to understand the purpose of money, what money is meant for, and that is true prosperity. If you have anything against money in your mind, or if you hate rich people, it is the reason you don’t have enough money yet because you cannot attract what you hate. Don’t have any issue or animosity against the rich and wealthy; they are not your enemy, instead, have an issue with covetousness, materialism, people living for things; but there is nothing wrong with rich people. Jesus had rich people as His disciples, though not the core disciples. Jesus had different disciples, there were some who were running as foot soldiers for him, preaching the gospel and there were others who were strategic disciples, occupying strategic positions in the society, for instance, Joseph of Arimathea. These were prominent people in the society that went to get the body of Jesus from Pontius Pilate and buried him, bought spices, costly ointments and gave him a befitting burial. The core disciples didn’t have that level of influence in the society, they didn’t even have that much money. Remember where Jesus had the last supper which he ate with his disciples? The owner was also wealthy. So, this is the point: God intended for you to prosper, He wants you to have money, but He does not want money to have you.

MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION): In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am blessed to be a blessing 24-7. I call forth resources supernaturally!!!
