– 1 Corinthians 14:2-15, Luke 1:80, 2:40, Jude 20

By praying in the Holy Ghost, you will arrest that wrong thing trying to make you weak and weary, and you become yielded to the Spirit and He will carry you along on what to do. You don’t have to be baptized in the Holy Ghost to be a good Christian, but if you will be a strong, victorious and spiritually powerful Christian, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. He opens doors unto your spirit man. The Bible talks of Jesus Christ our Lord and John the Baptist when they were younger, that they waxed strong in the spirit. That is how God wants His children to be – waxing strong in the spirit.

When you are born, you grow physically. When you are born again, you grow up spiritually too. You can be seventy years old physically and be seven months old spiritually. If you are a spiritual baby, what you should do is to accept that fact and grow up from there.

Wisdom is a spiritual quality of using knowledge accurately and to our advantage. If you don’t grow up spiritually, there is no way you are going to grow in wisdom and you are going to be on the losing side of life. You can and should grow in the Spirit to a stage that you are like a magnet and you begin to pull towards yourself all graces and provisions of God. There is no stagnancy in spiritual growth, it’s either you stop growing or you continue to grow. You can’t stay neutral.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Ghost. I connect to the graces and provisions that you have for me today as I pray now in the Holy Ghost.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Joshua 15:1-63, Luke 18:18-43, Psalms 86:1-17, Proverbs 13:9-10
