HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT COMMUNICATES THROUGH MENTAL IMPRESSIONS

Text – Acts 11:5-16

One of the ways by which your spirit man brings MENTAL IMPRESSIONS to you is by bringing things to your remembrance. Remembrance is a factor of the soul and memory is also a part of the soul. Whenever the Bible says “I then remembered”, we should ask “who brought it to his remembrance?” That is to say, God contacts our soul in reminding us of things that we forget.

Mental impressions are the super-imposition of the thoughts of the Holy Spirit on your thoughts or the injection of the thoughts of the Holy Ghost in your mind different from your train of thoughts. Pick up the thought you are remembering and examine if the spirit man is getting across to you. Mental impressions also come to you as things persistently come to your mind.

The spirit man contacts us is through mental impressions – impressing his ideas and notions into our soul. It is usually not something you are thinking of, it may just happen in a flash and it is always in line with the word. We ignore our spirit man to our peril by walking after this man on the outside that is so open to the devil. Your spirit is not open to the devil if you are born again, but your spirit is open to God.

As I share this truth with you, I know it is creating awareness in you, making you conscious of the spirit man inside, so that you will be able to focus on him. I am helping you to know that there is someone inside you that can lift you, make you a winner and make you succeed in all ramifications of your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for a divine awakening of my spirit man to the communications of the Holy Spirit through mental impressions in Jesus name!
